GUITAR HERO ON TOUR: POP ROCK

For the Nintendo DS' fourth Guitar Hero title, we planned to evolve Career Mode. Where Guitar Hero On Tour 3's Career HQ was multiple screens suggesting a space, we took it mobile and made it a single panoramic environment: a tour bus.

Before the project was cancelled, I completed this Tour Bus and Venue Map artwork.

This panorama was the main menu, allowing guitar customization, gig selection, management of fan requests, outfit and performer changes, etc.

The basic line work for the Tour Bus. Blue elements were sprites that would be layered atop the exported background.

From this map, you could play gigs at a shopping mall, a film studio, an awards ceremony, a Hollywood mansion pool party, or a Halftime show.
