WINAMP

UI SKIN ARTIST - Windows (1999-2001)

In the late 90s, Nullsoft's Winamp media player was the choice of many Windows users. It was fast, resource-light, free, and customizable.

The last part greatly appealed to me; I wanted to make the program look like my Dad's old stereo. After fun making that first skin and a positive reception online, I produced two more. Shortly I was contacted by AOL/Time-Warner, asking if I'd be interested in doing branded skins on commission, and suddenly I was a professional UI artist.
